The New River Symposium 2007
The Symposium was held May-June 2007 at Radford University.  It was attended by about one hundred people.  For information call Rick Roth or Rick Van Noy at Radford University.

The next Symposium will be held in Boone, NC.  Planning is underway as of Summer 2008. 

Forestry Focus Group

• The forest resources of the New River Watershed are very important to its health, economy, and tourism.
• This group is active with members from throughout the watershed, implementing strategies in the NRWR strategic plan for Forestry.
